No Show
What is going on, where in 2011 minor league football taking hits like this, NO referees for a schedule game? Never in my 20 plus years as a player (Burbank Bandits) and as an owner/coach, ref’s not show up for a game, in 2011 WHAT! We’ve have come a long way from the mixed match uniforms, different color helmets and masks, horrible play fields, weekly roster and rules changes, and that “weekend warrior” perception. We did not have refs; not show the up! Now and again they showed up late, but to not show up period! NEVER! Please don’t ask about a phone call……………"hey we’re running late, traffic, or a flat tire" NOTHING! What we got was "IF THEY NOT THERE BY NOW ASSUME THERE NOT COMING” Oh but around 8:45pm or so we get the call, “they were in a accident” I pray all 5 of them are ok! I'm happy it was not the 6 we requested, because not one they showed up! "Oh Coach Ju you trippin" Dogg it’s a preseason game, ok tell that to the Desperados who travel from Hesperia area, their very first game as a new team. The money Cruz lost, field/lights rental, DJ, scoreboard operator, cleaning crew, and security. And also he REFUNDED EVERY DIME HE TAKE AT THE GATE.
